Modus is adding a second Saab Seaeye Sabertooth to its Hybrid Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (HAUV) fleet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 3000 metre rated Sabertooth will be equipped with extended autonomous endurance and increased thrust for high speed survey and ready for the integration of advanced and high-resolution sensors for different types of applications and operations.<\/p>\n

The Modus vehicle has all the advanced features of Saab\u2019s military hybrid AUV\/ROVs, combined with\u00a0the Saab Seaeye technology that includes iCON intelligent control behaviour-based architecture.\u00a0Sabertooth is the only roaming and hovering system with 360 degree orientation that can operate in\u00a0both fully autonomous (AUV) and tethered (ROV) modes, enabling fully flexible dual operations from a\u00a0single platform.<\/p>\n
